Unlike some celebrity Instagrams that are overly curated or seem to only feature photos of the owner relaxing on glamorous beaches, Sarah Jessica Parker's social media is very down-to-earth. That's why when Parker posted in honor of the birthday of Matthew Broderick, her 6.5 million followers got a blurry picture of a cake. Well, that and a very sweet message about her husband of 24 years.

Broderick celebrated his 59th birthday on Mar. 21, and Parker shared a photo of his birthday dessert on her Instagram grid and on her Instagram Story. Along with the image, she wrote a nice note about how much she and their three children love him.

Read on to see how Parker paid tribute to her husband on his birthday, and for a few more moments she's shared from their family life on social media. And for more on long-time couples like Parker and Broderick, check out 12 Beloved, Long-Term Celebrity Couples, Then and Now.

Parker and their kids showered Broderick with love.

"Happy birthday Husband," Parker wrote. "We love you and we are oh so happy, grateful you were born. XXX, your SJ and 3 besotted young Brodericks."

Parker and Broderick's three children are 18-year-old James and 11-year-old twins Tabitha and Loretta.

In her Instagram Story, Parker posted another photo of the cake, which reads "Happy birthday Matthew!" and captioned it, "We love you so."

While Parker often posts photos of things she sees around New York City, causes she believes in, and the books she's reading. And on special occasions, she does open up to her followers about her family. In October, she posted a poem about her son turning 18 years old:

"My beloved son, James Wilkie,
On this day, you are 18 years old.
I marvel at the passing of those years
but equally the young man you are becoming.
My love for you is an ache and an honor.
As you leap toward and into your future,
I remain your privileged and steadfast confident and joyful witness to the year ahead.
Happy birthday my first time voter.
I love you so."

Parker's birthday is only a few of days after her husband's, on Mar. 25. Last year, she posted about turning a year older during the pandemic and shared pictures of ice cream, streamers, and some paintings.

"A birthday was celebrated," she wrote. "Decades old streamers found a purpose. 1 piece of tape doing double duty. Old paint producing new works by 10 year old hands. This one will never be forgotten."
